This page explains what personal data Portugal Property Now collects through this website, what we use it for and what rights you have, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.

1. Who processes your data

Portugal Property Now, an AMI-licensed real estate agency [AMI license number to be confirmed], with registered office at [address to be confirmed] and tax number [VAT number to be confirmed].

2. What data we collect

• Data you provide in the forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number.
• Information about the property you want to buy or sell: type, size, region, price range or budget, timeline, agencies already contacted and preferred way to be reached.
• Documents you choose to upload voluntarily in the optional documentation step.
• Minimal technical data associated with the form submission: date, time and IP address, used only for security and abuse prevention.

3. What we use the data for

• To respond to your property search request or your valuation and promotion request.
• To contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp about that request.
• To meet the legal obligations that apply to real estate brokerage activity.

We do not sell or share your data for third-party marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to a request you sent us. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

5. Who we share it with

To carry out your search or the promotion of your property, we may share only the necessary information with agencies, owners or industry professionals relevant to your case. We may also use technical service providers, such as web hosting and email services, which process data on our behalf and under written instructions.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your request data for as long as we are working with you and for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period. Uploaded documents are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for the process.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to ppndirect@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

8. Cookies

This site does not install advertising or analytics cookies by default. It only uses your browser's local storage to temporarily save your form answers during your visit, so you do not lose them if you reload the page. That content is deleted as soon as the request is submitted.

If advertising campaign measurement is enabled in the future, this page will be updated with the tools used and a prior consent request.
